Alumni Seeking Ways to Give Back to the Community

Both Jerome Couplin '09 and Marcus Pilgrim '10 were recently featured on Comcast SportsNet for their work giving back in their community. Jerome and Marcus expressed how thankful they are for the many opportunities and the wonderful role models they had at Bishop McNamara. On July 19th, Marcus, Jerome, and another former BMHS teammate and NFL player, Brandon Coleman '10, donated their time to work with kids at a free Football Camp here at Bishop McNamara. Great job, gentlemen. BMHS thanks you for all you do.

BMHS Students Sign National Letters of Intent with Colleges

Congratulations to our most recent Bishop McNamara students (Class of 2014) to sign their National Letters of Intent with colleges and universities of their choice. They are:

National Signing Day at Bishop McNamara

On the first Wednesday of February, high school seniors can sign a binding National Letter of Intent for college athletics. This morning at 10:00 a.m., five senior student-athletes of Bishop McNamara signed an athletic scholarship for the college or university of their choice.

Damian Prince '14 to be a Terp!

Bishop McNamara senior, Damian Prince, has announced that he will be a University of Maryland Terp in the fall! At a press conference in front of a national audience on ESPN on National Signing Day, Damian made his decision to go to Maryland and the Big Ten this morning at 10:35 am. Congratulations to Damian and to the Maryland Terps for their success at signing him. He will be an asset to the team.

Damian Prince '14 Adopts Plan of Healthy Eating and Exercise

Damian Prince '14 is facing his senior year with a new outlook. After an extensive summer program of healthy eating and exercise, Damian has lost 40 pounds and has much more energy. The Washington Post covered the story recently, producing a video of his summer workout regimen and dietary goals. Keep up the good work, Damian.
