Philosophy

Volleyball played well is a thing of beauty. Few athletic endeavors require as much teamwork. Athletes who study the game and apply the lesson learned to relish every opportunity to practice and play. Our mission is to build character and produce responsible players who leave our program having a positive impact on their families, education, communities and all walks of life. We are committed to excellence.

Bio: C/O 2005 Graduate of Bishop McNamara. Named to All-Prince Georges County first team as a junior and senior... Voted to All-Washington Catholic Athletic Conference team three consecutive years... Received all-metro honorable mention honors... Played Division 1 volleyball at the University of Albany… Won 3 championships and played in the Women’s volleyball NCAA tournament…Voted America East First team 3 consecutive years…All-Championship team 3 consecutive years...America East Player of the Year senior season.

Volleyball Scholarships for Women's Varsity Players

May 21, 2014 was signing day for two Bishop McNamara High School senior volleyball players. Ashanti Price '14 and Bobbi McDowell '14 have earned scholarships to play at Lincoln University and Notre Dame of Maryland respectively.  Congratulations to our Varsity Volleyball Women!
