Thursday, April 24th is a one-hour delayed opening.
The Library will be CLOSED after school today for a Teens in Action meeting/planning session.
Seniors: Service Hours Contracts are due TODAY, TUESDAY, APRIL 22!
Christian Service Reflections for all students are due in Theology Class on Thursday, April 24th or Friday, April 25th.
Reminder to all students, club photos will take place today and tomorrow in the Fine Arts Auditorium. NHS Seniors, your photo is at 9:35 today.  Junior class officers & cabinet, yours is at 9:00 tomorrow.  All other group pictures will take place as scheduled.  Schedules have been posted around the school and were sent to your student email.  Please be on time, if you miss your scheduled appointment there are NO retakes.  See Ms. Dado if you have any questions.
Today’s chess club meeting has been cancelled.
Juniors: If you would like to earn your service hours for the 2014-2015 school year over the summer at St. Ann's Center in Hyattsville, you must attend an orientation session on Wednesday, April 30 and Saturday, May 17. See the campus ministry bulletin board for more information.
It's time to do some spring cleaning!  Claim your Lost and Found items in the Main Concourse.  Any unclaimed items will be donated to Goodwill.  Eyeglasses, keys and jewelry can be claimed in the main office. 
Attention to all junior cabinet members: there will be a meeting at 3:30 on Wednesday. Please be in attendance. If you have any questions see Ms. Graham.
Teens in Action will meet on Tuesday of this week.  All Students who are planning and working on the Event at the Senior Center are required to attend. This is our last meeting prior to the event so be on time.  We will meet in the Library at 3:15-4:30.  Teens in Action will Host a Senior Techno Fair on Saturday for Senior Citizens needing to learn how to use technology to make their lives better.
The first of 4 spring concerts is THIS THURSDAY!
Spring Jazz Concert featuring Jazz Lab and Jazz Ensemble
7:00pm - This Thursday evening in the Fine Arts Theatre!
The Science Club wishes you a happy Earth Day today!  Please remember every day to reduce your use of energy by carpooling, turning off lights when not needed and recycling whenever possible.  Join us tomorrow to work on new recycling efforts!
The Science and Ecology Club’s next meeting is Wednesday, April 23, at 3:15pm in Room 203.  We will be working on a couple of new recycling brigades to collect items that do not go in the traditional recycling system. Our school will be collecting 3 ring binders and writing instruments such as pens and markers.  Volunteers are needed to help set up and maintain collection points for these items.  We also need students to help with a renewed classroom recycling push.  Your input and help is needed to make this a success! Please join us!
Math Power Hour will take place this week in the school library on Thursday, April 24th from 3:15 to 4:15.  All students who need help in math are encouraged to attend.  Students need to sign in to Power Hour no later than 3:30 and space is limited.
Adventure Sports Club has a meeting Thursday at 3:15 in room 108. Club photos are tomorrow at 3 pm in the Fine Arts Building. Be there as soon as the school day ends!
Attention Theatre Students! On Wednesday, April 23, Mrs. Donahue's Introduction to Theatre and Acting classes will be held in the Choir Room.  Club photographs will be taking place in the Theatre.
There will be CPR and First Aid classes offered on Monday, April 28, Tuesday, May 6, and Thursday, May 15. The classes will be in Room 201 and will start promptly at 3:30. The classes will go until 5:30 so plan accordingly. There will also be a $30 fee to complete the class that should be paid with a check written out to BMHS. Only the first 30 people to sign up will be able to attend. If you plan on coming or have any questions, please contact Mr. Smith: randal.smith@bmhs.org
Tickets to the spring music concerts will be on sale, Wednesday, April 23 during all lunches.
All tickets are $6.00.  Come support our Musical Mustangs!
The ACE Mentoring Club will meet from 3:15-5:15 today, 4/22, in room 203.  See Mr. Shin for questions.
Yoga Club will meet on Wednesday, April 23 at 3:30 p.m. in the Counseling Center.  All BMHS students are invited to come -- all you need is comfortable workout clothes and a desire to try something new.  Yogis of all levels are invited, from beginner to experienced!  Questions?  See Mrs. Mendiola in the Counseling Center.

Rosie Mackay, BMHS '10, will be coming to present to all interested students about: Keeping Close to Christ at College: Why pursue Faith and Justice once living independently? Monday, April 21st, 3:10-3:45 pm in the library. (First day back from break).  All students, you are welcome, please come!  There will be free refreshments!

Attention Seniors: The junior class is requesting that each senior bring in a baby picture to Ms. Graham, in room 212, by Friday, May 2nd. Please put your full name on the back of your picture and take into consideration that this picture will not be returned to you. See Ms. Graham if you have any questions.
Attention BMHS Sophomore Class! The Sophomore Student Cabinet will be hosting a movie night this Friday, April 25th EXCLUSIVELY for the sophomore class! There will be food, snacks, and a great movie! There are a variety of movie options so far; however, please feel free to submit requests to either Gabriela Grant or Mr. Shin! Tickets will be sold for $2 in every lunch starting Tuesday, April 22nd! Don't forget to buy your tickets before they sell out!

Also - the Band Audition Material will be available at the end of the day today. Anyone who is doing a final placement test or audition for band should stop by and pick up this music before break.
