The Library is reserved for class use and will remain OPEN with limited access during period 2, period 4, and period 6 today.

Seniors: Service Hours Contracts are due after the Easter break, on TUESDAY, APRIL 22!
The Science and Ecology Explorers Club will meet the Tuesday after Easter break, April 22nd at 3:15 in Room 203.  That is Earth Day 2014!  We will be working on a couple of new recycling brigades to collect items that do not go in the traditional recycling system. Our school will be collecting 3 ring binders and writing instruments such as pens and markers.  Volunteers are needed to help set up and maintain collection points for these items.  We also need students to help with a renewed classroom recycling push.  Your input and help is needed to make this a success! Please join us!
Attention those male students attending the Mother/Son Brunch, please be sure to pick up a picture order form from the Main Office.
Christian Service Reflections for all students are due in Religion Class on Thursday, April 24th or Friday, April 25th. Please use some of your Easter Vacation time to prepare your reflection so it is ready to turn in on the due date.

Attention all Junior cabinet members: there will be a mandatory meeting when we return from break on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2014 at 3:30 pm in room 212. If you have any questions or concerns please see Ms. Graham.
Attention Seniors: The junior class is requesting that each senior bring in a baby picture to Ms. Graham, in room 212, by Friday, May 2nd. Please put your full name on the back of your picture and take into consideration that this picture will not be returned to you. See Ms. Graham if you have any questions.
Rosie Mackay, BMHS '10, will be coming to present to all interested students about: Keeping Close to Christ at College: Why pursue Faith and Justice once living independently? Monday, April 21st, 3:10-3:45 pm in the library. (First day back from break).  All students, you are welcome, please come!  There will be free refreshments!
Students need to check the Lost and Found by the Campus Bookstore before leaving for Easter Break.  There are lots of items that need to be claimed.
Attention all Band and Orchestra Students - the instrument locker room must be 100% empty over break. There will be an intense locker check.
Also - the Band Audition Material will be available at the end of the day today. Anyone who is doing a final placement test or audition for band should stop by and pick up this music before break.

All Junior and Senior students who have been on a Kairos retreat are invited to the L4 Night of food, prayer, and fellowship this Wednesday night (4/9) from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.  This reunion night will start in the Chapel and there will be free pizza.  All Kairos alums are welcome!

There will be CPR and First Aid classes offered on Monday, April 28. The classes will be in Room 201 and will start promptly at 3:30. The classes will go until 5:30 so plan accordingly. There will also be a $30 fee to complete the class that should be paid with a check written out to BMHS. Only the first 30 people to sign up will be able to attend. Thursday, April 10 is a one-hour delayed opening.

Senior Parents Mandatory Meeting date has been changed to Wednesday, April 23rd at 6:30.
Dance Level Placements will be held after school for all of those students who are not currently in a Jazz, Ballet, Tap or Lyrical class that would like to be considered for a level higher than Beginner for next school year and all of those current dance students in the previously mentioned classes who are switching to a different genre than what they are currently in.  Level Placement auditions will be held on the following dates and times:
Tap- Tuesday April 8 3:30-4:30 (gym stage)
Lyrical- Tuesday April 8 3:30-4:30 (dance studio)
Chess Club will meet on Tuesday at 4:15 in room 201.  Players of all experience levels are welcome to come and play.

The Yoga Club will meet on Wednesday, April 9 at 3:30 p.m. in the Counseling Center.  All are welcome to come give yoga a try!  For information see Mrs. Mendiola in the Counseling Center.
The ACE Mentoring Club will meet on Tuesday from 3:15-5:15 in room 203.  See Mr. Shin for questions.  Please bring your laptops.
Attention Cooking Club members or anyone interested in cooking, there will be a meeting on Wednesday, April 9 at 3:10 in room 205 to discuss our next cooking project.  Please plan on attending this short meeting if you want to cook.
The Science and Ecology Explorers Plant Sale is now taking place, Tuesday and Wednesday. Please see Ms. Steeger or a club member during the lunches or after school in room 203, from 3 to 3:30.  We still have a few zinnias, nasturtiums, sunflowers, tomato, zucchini, basil and micro-greens left but you need to email or see Ms. Steeger as soon as possible to get your plants.  Banish the winter blues and celebrate spring, the plants are going fast!  Proceeds benefit the native plant garden on campus.
Need your assistance in locating a missing I Phone 5 that was in the pocket of a Bishop McNamara sweater left in the cafeteria after 2nd lunch.  Anyone with information about the missing sweater or phone should see Mrs. Hayes no questions asked.  Let's do the right thing.
Please help to locate a missing grey graphing calculator with initials A.M.W. on the back of the calculator.  Your assistance is greatly appreciated.  See Mrs. Hayes with any information about the calculator no questions asked.

This is a reminder to the Science National Honor Society members and those being inducted, the induction ceremony will take place on Monday, April 7 at 3:30 in the Chapel. It should take approximately 30 - 45 minutes.  If you are unable to attend, please e-mail Ms. Kazimer to let her know.
